HP Solution Centre...HELP!?
Can someone please tell me how to get rid of HP Solution Centre.
Every time the computer starts up a box opens saying the CD Rom won't configure (or something like that). It happens whether the printer is plugged in or not - there is nothing wrong with the printer.
It is VERY annoying and sometimes cancelling it doesn't get rid of it - I have to use the task manager to get rid of it.
I have tried add/remove programmes but it just 'bounces' off the remove/change button and won't shift.
the only way to get rid of it is to uninstall the software.
Then connect the printer via the USB cable and let the "found new hardware" wizard install the printer without the software and only using the drivers from the CD, but HP wont let you know the ink levels by this method.
